My name is Rae (she/they) and I have been an online instructor since 2021. Community and inclusivity are the guiding pillars of my classroom, shaped by my perspective as a queer and neurodivergent person.

I have a strong interest in the connections between art, media, pop culture, technology, and learning. I enjoy analyzing how these areas influence and inform each other.

My approach is encouragement and reciprocal curiosity. I take a genuine interest from the input of my students because they offer bright ideas - I firmly believe that we learn and grow from each other. I am happy to hear about the special interests that your learner is passionate about and want every person in our classroom to feel celebrated for who they are. My classroom guidelines all revolve around the idea of safety: be kind to each other, yourself, and the space you are working in.
